A rodent proofing company that shows up when homeowners ask AI for help

Integrity Rodent Proofing is a Dixon-based home services company and one of our own operating businesses, which makes it the first place every new system runs. This is what happened when we pointed our own AI visibility work at it.

60%

Of AI answers in its home town name the business

13

Service-town pages built and indexed

12

AI answers in every check: 4 questions, 3 engines

The problem

Good work, invisible to the new front door

Homeowners have started asking ChatGPT and Perplexity who to call, the same way they used to ask Google. Integrity did solid work and had happy customers, but outside its home town the AI answers named other companies.

The website treated a 13-town service area like one town, the inbox and referral follow-up ran on memory, and there was no honest way to tell whether any of it was improving.

What we did

Measure first, then build what the answers reward

Step 1

Ran the buyer questions, town by town

We asked the four questions a homeowner actually asks, unbranded, across ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini, for each town Integrity serves. The counts set the baseline: strong at home, thin everywhere else.

Step 2

Built a real page for every town

Thirteen service-town pages, each written for that town with its own detail, published through the site codebase, indexed, and submitted to the search engines. No spun copies, no filler.

Step 3

Put systems behind the visibility

An hourly inbox watch so no lead sits, a referral partner outreach program that now sends work both ways, and a weekly re-check of the same questions so a drop in the answers surfaces in days, not months.

Why the numbers hold up

  • The count is answers naming the business divided by questions asked. The denominator never shrinks when a check goes badly.
  • Every figure traces back to a saved check run that can be pulled up and re-read.
  • The questions are unbranded, worded the way a homeowner with a rodent problem asks them.
  • Town pages carry real local detail and the company's own claimable facts: licensed and insured, no poison, same-week inspections.

The result

Named at home, climbing in the towns around it

In its home town, 60% of AI answers now name Integrity when a homeowner asks for help. The weekly check watches the surrounding towns the same way, and the town pages give the engines something real to cite.

The same setup, measure, build, re-check, is the program we run for clients. It runs on our own business first, which is why the numbers on this page are ours to publish.
